Hello Everyone. I hope this post finds you all grand and well back home. We continue to be well also. Today was spent doing some on-line housekeeping (pay bills, write emails, work on blog, etc) as we are now down to our last hours in Uganda. We have been here for three weeks and what a three weeks it has been! I/we are sad to leave such a beautiful country housing so many great people. These people and children are amazing and they have inspired me so much in the last 21 days. We shall write more about it soon as in a few hours we will be throwing the bags on our backs to catch a flight and embrace a new country. The next stop is Egypt and we are excited!! I mean how cool are the pyramids and the Red Sea? Pretty cool in my book and I have looked forward to someday visiting it for a long time. We will also be spending a few days in Israel and Jordon. The next two weeks promise to be good and you will certainly be hearing about it on here.
In the meantime I wanted to follow up on Ryan’s Kilimanjaro post with some of my own photos. We all know by now that I certainly can’t write like he does so I guess I have been demoted to photo boy. Which I embrace happily! I know that many of you have probably already seen these photos (on facebook) but there was no way I could leave them out of the blog. Of all the photos I have taken yet, these have been the funnest to capture (outside of the fact that I couldn’t feel my fingers when taking most of them). It was a solid -5 F up top! They are ordered in reverse of our accent, showing the summit first and then working our way down the mountain through most of our campsites (as discussed in Ryan’s post). If you haven’t seen them yet please enjoy, if you have, please enjoy them again

Jamie, Great pics! I especially enjoyed the one with the stars and the snowy peak. Also, I always have loved sunset photos; these are special. What an amazing adventure! Thanks for sharing. Rhonda
